Let us train your housekeeper or helper to prepare delicious and nutritious meals.  
A 3 hour cooking lesson in your own kitchen.  This course can be bought in single lessons or as a package course including all 4 lessons.
 

What is included:

  • A 3 hour cooking lesson in your kitchen.
  • Recipe booklet and notes.
  • 4 Basic recipes will be covered per lesson from a selection of recipes provided.
  • Excludes ingredients.  Recipes and shopping lists sent to you in advance. 
    Why? So we can use the ingredients that you already cook with from suppliers that you prefer.
  • We practice strict COVID19 safety protocols.
  • Certificate of completion once all 4 lessons have been completed.

    What is covered in lessons and courses:

    • Every recipe covers a set of skills that can be used in the kitchen.
    • Use of basic kitchen equipment, knife skills, measuring and mixing.
    • Kitchen hygiene, portioning and food storage.
    • Basic cooking techniques.

    LESSON 1: BREAKFASTS 
    Recipes that are fast and easy to prepare so busy professionals, rushing parents and kids can eat before heading off.

    • Eggs - Omelette, Soft scramble, Baked egg cups 
    • Apple and carrot muffins (Toddlers and kids love this)
    • Easy bread for breakfast in 30minutes
    • Zucchini fritters (Toddlers and kids love this)

    LESSON 2:  LIGHT LUNCH 
    Light, healthy and nutritious lunch options with added fiber for the hungry kids when they get back from school or for those that need a bite to keep them going.

    • Creamy chicken and vegetable soup
    • Grilled Chicken breast with bbq sweet potatoes
    • Vegetable egg fried rice
    • Stir fry - Beef/Chicken stir fry with variations of noodle or sticky rice
    • Quick green salad with seasonal vegetable and vinaigrette 

    LESSON 3:  DINNERS IN A DASH 
    These recipes include some family favorites and meals that can be prepared earlier during the day and warmed up.

    • Easy butter chicken and naan bread
    • Chicken and leek pie
    • Thai coconut fish with lemon steamed rice 
    • Vegetable loaded spaghetti bolognaise 
    • Different starches and how to use them

    LESSON 4:  LUNCH BOX AND SNACK OPTIONS 
    Easy things to prepare for the lunch boxes or just a quick snack on the go.

    • Salmon fishcakes
    • Mini chicken burgers
    • Home made hummus with crudité
    • Scones
    • Mixed nut Florentines
    • Sweet potato cupcakes

    • Regular hand washing and sensitization throughout the cooking lesson. 
    • C-19 RoomGuard is an aerial disinfectant that is continuously misted into the air through a humidifier or diffuser.  RoomGuard kills bacteria and airborne viruses and is safe to use on the cooking environment.  We promote and use RoomGuard during the cooking session.
